In their new video, The Creators Project talks to data artists— From Mark Hansen and Ben Rubin’s Moveable Type installation in the New York Times Building, that updates in real time reflecting the newspapers stats and analytics, to Jer Thorp and The Office for Creative Research’s Grand Hotel piece in Vancouver, and Fernanda/Martin’s collaborative piece, Wind Map, this video takes a look inside how these artists are translating the data of our lives into visual works of art.
